Within the Energy Carriers Business Line we are looking for Equipment/Machinery Cost Engineer to be employed on Milan, in our Department of Tendering;
In this position the resource will be involved in following activities:
Prepare Cost Estimation for Equipment/Machinery procurement based on Material Take Off received from engineering departments, defining unit cost trough market inquires and/or internal cost database, availing of Procurement departments support where required.
The role is aimed at conducting the following activities:
· To analyze and understand the Scope of Works defined by tendering documentation, with reference to technical aspect and specifications related to Equipment;
· For the specific discipline, define the estimating strategy identifying the critical procurement items that require dedicated market inquires;
· Contribute to Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE), done by engineering departments, verifying the alignment to technical requirements and project specifications;
· Prepare Commercial bid Evaluation (CBE) verifying the alignment to contract requirements and evaluating potential cost impact of deviations;
· Review and agree with Lead Estimator the priced Material take off to be included in the cost built-up;
· Participate to cost review and cost closure meetings;
· Maintain constantly updated the internal material unit cost database;
Requirements:
· Master’s degree in mechanical engineering (or similar)
· Knowledge of English language B2/C1
· 3-5 Years in Equipment/Machinery engineering technical department.
SOFT SKILLS:
· Works duties organization Capability to match the required deadlines;
· Interest in learning, in-depth study and constant updating;
· Flexibility and capabilities to works-in and manage complex and heavy pressure conditions, priority defining skill;
· Good communication skills, sharing the goal in a teamwork condition, efficient management of multiples interfaces both internal and external to company;
NICE TO HAVE: Advanced Excel user.
LOCATION: Milano HO Availability for National and abroad mobilization
Contract Type: permanent, salary package commensurate with the level of experience
