As Manning Officer for Welding Crew, you will join the Welding Department, in the business line ABSER, conducting the following activities:
- Participate to the Sourcing and CV’s screening for each new welders’ preselection campaign
- Perform missions to various sites (worldwide) in view of welders’ preselection campaigns
- Perform missions’ onboard vessels (worldwide) to meet welding team, participate to performance evaluation, to understand vessels welding configurations
- Follow-up the welding crew mobilization during the warm-up and qualification onboard and crosscheck their readiness to travel at specific dates
- Follow up of Frame agreement contract with external compagnies providing external resources (welders, etc)
- Keep live the data base for all lists and CVs of external welders in view of future collaboration
- Close collaboration with Line Manager and the tendering team to prepare manning budget for the future projects (nbre of welders required for the project, nbre of days for the welders’ trials, qualifications onboard or on site)
- Preparation of welders training budgets
- Work on databases to keep traceability of manning budgets, CVs of external welders in view of future collaboration, skills and Performance evaluations of Welding personnel
- Interface with Saipem recruiter for the recruitment of welding personnel and their mobilization on site
QUALIFICATION: Technical diplomas with significant experience considered or degree in Materials and/or Mechanical Engineering
KNOWLEDGE OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE: Good knowledge of English both written and spoken (at least B2)
LABOUR RELATIONSHIP: Permanent contract
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 2 years of experience for graduates; 5 years for diploma holders
SOFT SKILLS:
- High proactivity and open-mindedness
- Strong problem-solving skills and methodical approach
- Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
- Multidisciplinary approach and curiosity in learning new techniques and skills
- Flexible and good adaptability
HARD SKILLS:
- Ideally existing experience in manning and potentially some knowledge in welding.
LOCATION: Milan, Italy.
MOBILITY: Availability for missions onshore or offshore (less than 30 days)
