Within the ABSER Business Line we are looking for PIPING AND LAYOUT SPACIALIST LEAD  to be employed on MILAN Plant Design department.

In this position the resource will be involved in:

·      Experience in plant design of upstream industrial plants in the oil gas petrochemical sector, modular skids projects with particular focus on Plant layout development and Handling ;

·      Drawing up critical piping routing from process diagrams and plot plan and elevation plans considering constraints such as accessibility, maintainability, safety, thermal gradients, material costs;

·      Counting of piping materials based on P&ID and plot plan;

·      Interpretation of technical specifications identifying critical aspects

·      Analysis and interpretation of contractual clauses and critical analysis of customer requirements

·      Supervision of piping engineering activities produced by external subcontractors or other Saipem engineering centers.

·      Ensure the execution of Piping Engineering activities in compliance with the costs and timescales.

Requirements:

·      Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering or a specialized diploma.

·      Knowledge of English language  B2/C1

·      Minimum 10 years of experience having worked for upstream oil & gas projects and knowledge with major related international codes and standards.

·      IT SKILLS: Knowledge of Office package, AutoCAD 2D, Smart Plant 3D and/or Aveva E3D, Knowledge or use of Caesar II

·      Strong problem-solving skills and methodical approach.

·      Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.

·      Multidisciplinary approach and curiosity in learning new techniques and skills.

Location : Milano HO. Availability to travel abroad to offices and construction site

Contract Type: permanent, salary package commensurate with the level of experience
