As Rotating & Package Engineer, you will respond to the head of Process and Itemized Item Department and be part of the ABSER BL within the Milan Offshore Engineering team
How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:
- Develop technical specifications and engineering documentation for rotating equipment (e.g., Compressors, Turbines, Pumps) and/or packages (e.g. Instrument Air; Fuel Gas system, Produced water treatment, Fresh Water System, Sewage Water Treatment, Pedestal Crane, etc).
- Ensure compliance with international standards and internal engineering guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate equipment into plant layouts and process diagrams.
- Support procurement activities, including supplier selection, technical bid evaluations, and vendor follow-up, including the Vendor documentation check and approval assuring that the equipment/package purchase will meet quality requirements respecting time constraints.
- Supervise installation, commissioning, and performance testing of rotating machinery/packages.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation for internal and client use.
- Act as a technical interface between clients, vendors, and internal departments to resolve engineering issues.
What are we looking for?
Education: Master's Degree/bachelor’s degree in: Mechanical Engineering
Experience: 5 years at least as a Mechanical Engineer within Oil&Gas Industry
Languages: Fluent in English (minimum B2 level).
Technical Skills: Proven experience in rotating equipment and/or packages design within Oil & Gas or industrial plant environments. Strong knowledge of international codes and standards (API, ASME, ISO).
Other Skills: Excellent communication skills and ability to work in international teams. Willingness to travel for medium/short-term assignments
IT Skills: Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Bluebeam, etc).
