As Static Equipment Thermal Design Engineer, you will respond to the Static Equipment Lead and be part of the ENCAR business line.
How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:
What are we looking for?
- Knowledge of air cooled heat exchangers regulated by API 661 and ISO 13706 standards.
- Knowledge of shell & tube heat exchangers regulated by API 660 and TEMA standards.
- Experience and ability to carry out the following EPC Contractor activities:
a. Critical review of general specifications (Client’s / Licensor’s / Others’)
b. Thermal design (sizing) and thermal rating of air cooled heat exchangers and shell & tube heat exchangers through HTRI Xchanger Suite (default software) or other software upon request.
c. Completion of API 661 and TEMA style thermal datasheet through incorporation of all data from thermal design activities.
d. For shell & tube heat exchangers, preparation of tubesheet layout through HTRI or other software and submission to the mechanical specialist.
e. For air cooled heat exchangers, preparation of Layout Drawing.
f. Management of possible Client comments to the thermal design.
g. Contribution to the technical evaluation of vendor bids for air cooled heat exchangers, shell & tube heat exchangers and proprietary heat exchangers, and subsequent issue of the Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE) document package.
Education: Master’s or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Experience: Proven experience (at least 8 years) in the same or similar positions with International Main Contracting & Engineering Companies
Languages: English (B2/C1)
Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of the main calculation codes relevant to pressure equipment (ASME Sect.VIII Division 1 code, as a minimum).
IT Skills: familiarity with PC software for Office Automation and Software for Mechanical Equipment Design.
