For a client of ours, a leading financial company, we are seeking a Strategy & Transformation Manager.


Core responsibilities you’ll face in the position:

  • Lead the Strategy & Transformation Department in consolidating its role as a strategic company function, responsible for supporting the definition, development, and execution of business strategy and transversal transformation initiatives
  • Partner with the local Board of Directors to identify strategic growth opportunities, proactively challenging assumptions and contributing to strategic decision-making, and supporting their translation into concrete initiatives and programs, while ensuring alignment with key stakeholders at local and central levels
  • Monitor and assess the business model to ensure alignment with Company strategic objectives, proposing improvements and adjustments where needed
  • Define, implement, and continuously improve the transformation and program management framework (PMO), ensuring effective governance, prioritization, and execution across initiatives
  • Lead and coordinate a portfolio of cross-functional projects, ensuring delivery of tangible business outcomes and alignment across departments
  • Drive initiatives related to ways of working transformation (e.g. Lean, Agile, process optimization), ensuring practical adoption within the organization
  • Contribute to or lead initiatives related to data governance and data-driven decision making, supporting business performance and strategic alignment
  • Manage and facilitate Business Review processes (monthly / quarterly), ensuring alignment, visibility, and actionable follow-up across stakeholders
  • Establish and reinforce change management frameworks (e.g. Problem Solving, Project Management, Innovation), supporting consistency and effectiveness in execution
  • Develop and promote capabilities in Lean, Digital, and transformation practices, coaching Business Leaders and Project Managers
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to transformation initiatives, ensuring continuity, alignment, and sustainable impact
  • Communicate progress, challenges, and results of key initiatives to senior stakeholders, ensuring transparency and engagement

Qualifications:

Must have

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business, IT, Engineering)
  • 5+ years of experience in Project / Program / Transformation Management, with exposure to complex, cross-functional initiatives
  • Solid experience in Program Management / PMO environments, including governance of multiple parallel initiatives
  • Experience in transformation projects, particularly related to ways of working (e.g. Lean, Agile, process improvement)
  • Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders across different functions and seniority levels, including the ability to provide constructive challenge
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to operate in cross-functional and evolving environments
  • Exposure to or involvement in data governance or data-driven initiatives
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g. Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
  • Good level of English (at least B2)

Nice to have

  • Experience in coordinating Business Reviews or similar governance processes
  • Previous experience in non-HQ / operational environments, enabling effective interaction with both local and central functions
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. Jira) and problem-solving methodologies (e.g. PDCA, A3, 5 Whys, Ishikawa)
