For the development of the Welding Department, we are looking for a Welding Technologies Engineer, supporting in the following tasks:
ACTIVITIES:
- After a training period in our Pipeline Technologies Center in Romania, you may continue your assignment in the Pipeline technologies center to develop and qualifify welding procedures.
- Be assigned on production sites (Onshore or Offshore) to follow up the pipeline welding activities.
- On Production sites, You will be in charge to lead the welding team on site (approx. 20/30 Welders, Beveling machine operator, Welder Formen, Welding Equipment Technicians).
- In Romanian Pipeline Technologies Center, you will participate to the development and qualifications of welding procedures or participate to welding R&D activities.
On site/Onboard, You will be the focal point for the welding activities and you will be in charge of:
- Supervising the welders training and qualifications activities
- Supervising both pre-fabrication and fabrication activities during project execution
- Verifying the correct appliance of qualified welding procedures and specifications
- Ensuring the quality of weld is achieved against the acceptance criteria of the project
- Ensuring the targeted productivity is achieved
- Verifying the availability of welding consumables and equipment spare parts during entire project execution
- Organize maintenance of welding equipment with the support of Welding equipment technicians
- Organize the rotations of welding team
- Issue Daily progress welding reportReporting main quality and productivity achievements, problem encoured
- Issuance of close out report at project completion (lessons learned, suggestions of improvement, etc)
QUALIFICATION: High school diploma minimum. Interested and Motivated by Welding and welding equipment is an essential asset.
KNOWLEDGE OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE: Good knowledge of English both written and spoken (at least B2)
LABOUR RELATIONSHIP: Permanent contract
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 5-10
SOFT SKILLS:
- High proactivity and open-mindedness.
- Pragmatic
- Strong problem-solving skills and methodical approach.
- Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
- Flexible and good adaptability
MOBILITY: Availability for missions onshore or offshore
