For our client, a highly innovative chain of hostels and boutique hotels operating in approximately 20 cities across Europe and North America, we are looking for an:

ACCOUNTANT

Key Responsibilities

• Manage active and passive invoicing processes;
• Maintain accurate general ledger entries (First Note);
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy;
• Prepare and analyze financial reports to assist in decision-making;
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and financial policies;
• Support in dealing with budgeting and forecasting, as well as with cash flow management;
• Assist with the day-to-day operations e.g. credit control, revenue reports;

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• At least 2 years of professional experience in a comparable role;
• Fluent knowledge of English;
• Excellent knowledge of the accounts receivable and accounts payable cycle;
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel);
• Be creative, innovative and a digitally smart;
• You must be eligible to work in the EU to be considered for this role.

Nice to have

• Cost controlling experience
• Budget and forecasting knowledge
